9月8日，由河北美术学院主办，日本字体设计协会协办的“日本字体设计年鉴2024中国展”在河北美术学院隆重开幕。学校举办者、校长甄忠义，大阪艺术大学教授、日本字体设计协会理事长高桥善丸，河北省教育厅原一级巡视员、河北省高等教育学会会长王廷山，方正字体库原设计总监朱志伟等嘉宾出席开幕式，开幕式由河北美术学院常务副校长张建敏主持；同期举行学术研讨会及专题讲座，汇聚中日字体设计领域专家学者，共启字体艺术盛会。
On September 8th, the "Japan Font Design Annual 2024 China Exhibition," hosted by Hebei Academy of Fine Arts and co-organized by the Japan Typography Association, grandly opened at Hebei Academy of Fine Arts. Attendees included Zhen Zhongyi, the founder and president of the academy;Yoshimaru Takahashi,professor at Osaka University of Arts and chairman of the Japan Typography Association; WangTingshan, former first-level inspector of the Hebei Provincial Department of Education and president of the Hebei Higher Education Association; and Zhu Zhiwei, former design director ofFangzheng Font LibraryThe opening ceremony was presided over by Zhang Jianmin,ExecutiveVicePresident of Hebei Academy of Fine Arts. Concurrently, academic seminars and special lectures were held, bringing together experts and scholars from the field of font design in China and Japan to kick off a grand gathering of typographic art.
校长甄忠义对到场嘉宾表示欢迎，强调日本字体设计年鉴2024中国展，以“彰显设计美学、梳理技术脉络、促进跨界交流”为核心目标，系统展示了日本字体设计的年度成果与创新精神，为中国业界与学界提供观察东亚字体设计发展的前沿样本。
President Zhen Zhongyi extended a welcome to the guests and emphasized that the exhibition, with its core objectives of "highlighting design aesthetics, outlining technological trends, and promoting cross-disciplinary exchange",systematically showcases the annual achievements and innovative spirit of Japanese font design. It provides the Chinese industry and academia with a cutting-edge sample to observe the development of East Asian font design.

Yoshimaru Takahashishared Japan's developmental experience in font design from an international perspective and expressed hopes for deeper collaboration between China and Japan in the field of design.
王廷山肯定了河北美术学院在艺术教育领域的成果，指出本次展览的举办将为河北高等艺术教育注入新活力，并结合自身实践，谈及字体设计对文化传播的重要价值。
WangTingshan acknowledged Hebei Academy of Fine Arts' achievements in art education, noting that the exhibition would inject new vitality into higher art education in Hebei. Drawing from his own experience, he also discussed the important role of font design in cultural communication.
开幕式后，嘉宾与师生共同参观展览，近距离感受日本字体设计的创意表达和独特风格。随后，学术交流在美术馆一楼报告厅开启，我校教授陈宏伟与朝日新闻社首席设计师，日本字体设计协会海外展示委员长郭溢先生共同担任学术主持，8位中日专家依次分享，带来前沿观点与深度思考。
After the opening ceremony, guests, faculty, and students visited the exhibition, experiencing the creative expression and unique style of Japanese font design up close. Subsequently, academic exchanges began in the lecture hall on the first floor of the art museum. Professor Chen Hongwei from our university and Guo Yi, chief designer of theAsahi Shimbunand overseas exhibition committee chairman of the Japan Typography Association, co-chaired the session. Eight experts from China and Japan shared their insights, offering forward-thinking perspectives and in-depth reflections.

In the afternoon,Yoshimaru Takahashiheld a special lecture in the Third Conference Room of the Roman Castle on the theme "Designs that Give Characters Personality and Expression," offering an in-depth sharing session for 300 faculty and students from the School of Design.
通过本次展览及相关活动，进一步激活中日字体设计领域的学术对话，推动双方在东亚文字艺术的传承与创新路径上形成深度共识，为构建中日字体设计领域长期、稳定的学术合作与产业联动机制奠定坚实基础，共同助力东亚文字艺术在全球化语境下的可持续发展。
Through this exhibition and related events, academic dialogue in the field of font design between China and Japan has been further activated. This promotes deep consensus on the inheritance and innovation paths of East Asian character art and lays a solid foundation for establishing long-term, stable academic cooperation and industrial collaboration between China and Japan in the field of font design. Together, these efforts contribute to the sustainable development of East Asian character art in a global context.
